We’ve Got Shows!

Returns to The Rook & Mr. Peabody’s, House of Blues and more

Thanks Mr. Peabody’s for the great place to play!

Thanks to everyone that’s made it out to our past couple shows at Mr. Peabody’s in Encinitas. Our February 24th extravaganza was amazing, and the crowd was one of our best ever, as we got to break in new materials from The Plimsouls, The Proclaimers, Big Country and more Clash, among others. And then this past weekend’s St. Patrick’s Day show, playing along side Lo-fi Nipple and Hardly Human took it to another level.

Huge thanks to Mr. Peabody’s and On Point Promotions for the chance. We’ll be back in May, and more on that in a little bit.

We’ve got several shows to tell you about coming up in the coming months. We’d love to see you and give you a chance to hear some of the new songs we’re working on. Here’s the latest:

April 8th: The Rook Bar in La Mesa. 8-11 PM. Free. This is our annual “Rob’s and Jim’s Birthday Party” show, where we’ll celebrate big days for our drummer and singer. It’s bound to be fun, and we’ll try to break in a few new tunes. This is our home spot in La Mesa – it’s always a fun time getting to play for you at The Rook. 21+

April 28th: House Of Blues San Diego. 7:30 PM. Short set. Huge opportunity. We’ll be opening a show in the Voodoo Room at House of Blues in the Gaslamp. Our own Riki Michele is in the middle slot, and the headliners are Dave & Michele’s good friends from Nashville, The Choir. They’re a Grammy-nominated band with 15 albums to their credit, and collaborations with members of Sigur Ros, The Church, Sixpence None The Richer and many others. This is a short set for us, but it will be a great night of music and we hope you’ll make a night of it.

May 20: Mr. Peabody’s in Encinitas. 8:30 – midnight. We’re headed back to North County in May for what we hope continues to be a regular spot for us. We love the crew at Mr. Peabody’s and can’t wait to make a return trip.

June 3: Helix Brewing Company in La Mesa. 6:30 – 9:30. All Ages. Our first ever visit to this La Mesa brewing hotspot. We’ve enjoyed their beer for a long time, and it’s a great spot for music.

June 10: Riki Michele at Helix Brewing Company in La Mesa. 6:30 – 9:30. All Ages. Make back-to-back Saturday trips to Helix and hear our very own Riki Michele with a stripped down acoustic duo play a mix of originals and cover songs. A guaranteed great time.
